[ADV] What’s your story?

You guys probably know by now that I’m not in the country (yes, I’m in Canada) but that doesn’t mean I can’t blogged to share with you all some goodies.

And just what goodies are these, you ask? Well, let’s see. How about:

RM5,000 cash (for the 1st prize), RM2,000 (for the 2nd prize) and RM1,000 (for the 3rd prize)? Plus an extra RM1,000 for the college winner!

$10,000 of $20,000

Okay, so they are probably not going to give it to you in those notes, but you get the idea.

Anyway, I digress.

Now that I’ve got your attention, you’ll want to read on to see how you can stand a chance to win those prizes thanks to a competition Trend Micro is organising.

Trend Micro

Dubbed the What’s Your Story competition, Trend Micro is inviting you (if you’re 18 and above) to submit a video which reflects one of these three categories (go wild!):

• Being a good online citizen
• Using a mobile phone wisely
• Maintaining you privacy online

Once you’ve used up all your creative juices, and produced the video then you’re almost set to move on to the next step which is registering!

To register, all you need to do is visit this page and click on the Register button on the top right corner. Then, fill in a simple form and upload your video! Following that, you just need to post the link and share it with your friends on Facebook. Get them to “Like” your video! You can also like the Trend Micro Facebook page here.

It’s that simple. However, if you need more details, you can click on the images below to see the larger files that contain lots of information.

Alternatively, you could, as the flyer above indicates, catch the Trend Micro team at one of their college road shows.

They’ve already been to a few but there are many more you can catch them at including:
• Nilai University College ¬- 21 June, 2011
• Inti University College (Subang Jaya) – 23 June, 2011
• UCSI – 28 June, 2011
• UNITEN – 30 June, 2011
• HELP University – 5 July, 2011
• Segi Subang Jaya – 7 July, 2011
• MMU Cyberjaya – 12 July, 2011
• Taylor’s College Subang Jaya – 14 July, 2011

Because I’m such a nice person, I even did a sample video for you guys based on the “Being a good online citizen” theme. But don’t copy me okay! 😛 Watch it below:

So what are you waiting for? Last day to submit your videos is July 31, 2011, so get going!

Good luck!
